FRANKIE

 I chose this image because it was the day I met Frankie, my ESA (Emotional support animal). After thoughtful consideration and discussion with my parents, I felt that I would benefit from having an ESA, and specifically a dog. This was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. We knew we had to pick a smaller breed dog so that I could bring him to college with me, and so we chose a breed that we could predict his size. I knew he was the one meant for me from the minute I saw his picture. We made sure we were there when the building opened, and we went straight to his cage and asked to see him. He was joyful, playful, funny, happy, and a bit of a "stinker". Since that day, he has become my best friend. He instinctively seems to know when I'm stressed or feeling overwhelmed, and will sit quietly on my lap and let me cuddle him, even though he is normally a very active dog. Class Expectations

       My name is Anna Maurice and I am not sure what to expect for Card 101. Despite the fact that it is a required class, I am excited to be a part of it. I hope to be able to expand my writing abilities and learn how to write smoother and more efficiently. I have always loved writing, and I would like to get better at it. I also know that there is a ton of writing in college, and I hope to improve my skills so that I can preform better in my classes over the next four years.      I am not sure of all the material that will be covered in the class, but I am sure that I will learn how to be a better writer. I think that the ability to write well is critical no matter what your job is in life. The ability to express your thoughts and ideas well is an essential skill to be learned. Many times in the past I have had an idea in my head, but finding a way to express it clearly so that the reader can understand my point of view has been challenging. As a hi...
